There is no upper age limit for Sildenafil but physical limitations and a patient’s medical health will play a part in deciding whether sex, which can be strenuous cardiovascular exercise is appropriate or suitable. Sildenafil should be used when sex is anticipated. It should ideally be taken 30-60 minutes before sex on an empty stomach or after a light meal. If this is the first time using Sildenafil 100mg, then we would recommend you start with Sildenafil 50mg tablets initially. If they are ineffective then try 100mg next time.

• Keep a record of the batch number and expiry date of your medication.
• Do not use medication that is past its expiration date.
• Dispose of unused or expired medication safely at a pharmacy.
• Flushing medication down the toilet or throwing it in the bin is not advised.
• If you experience a prolonged erection lasting more than four hours, seek help.
• Priapism is a medical emergency that can lead to permanent tissue damage.
• Treatment for priapism may involve draining blood from the penis.
